Crime is certainly an issue that people in Streetly feel needs tackling. I have contacted Aldridge, West Midlands police to see what can be done to bring the community together to tackle these opportunist criminals.
Please fill in my survey, if you have not done so. This will help me pinpoint issues within the community.
Outcome: I have spoken to Sergeant Mari Amos, from Aldridge Police Station and she recommends Anti-snap locks on doors and windows and Car wheel locks to deter criminals. We discussed the importance of all the community getting together to deter criminals. I will endeavour to arrange a meeting at the community centre.
PCSO’s are coming to Streetly Library on Saturday 28th October between 3-4pm. Please pop along to raise any concerns.Leave a comment
